PARMCO OVEN

If it’s a self-cleaning oven you want, choose between a Parmco oven with catalytic liners or the pyrolytic oven. 

Catalytic liners

These are liners on the sides, back and sometimes the roof, of the oven that are treated with a special material that absorbs grease splashes. When the oven is run at around 200°C or higher, the splashes are burnt off.

Pyrolytic Ovens

Pyrolictic ovens work on the principle of Pyrolysis, which is claimed to be 100% effective and practically labour-free.  This system is available on more expensive electric cookers, but is becoming more affordable.  The principle is that by heating the oven to a  very high temperature, alll splashes and spills are reduced to a fine grey ash that can be wiped away when it has cooled down.

Whatever type of oven you choose you should clean the interior regularly to optimize its performance.
